The SR 580 Safety Helmet together with the SR 500 /SR 500EX / SR 700 powered respirator are part of Sundström's powered air-assisted respiratory protection equipment.

 

The combination of both devices, along with the breathing hose, constitutes a respiratory protection system that provides continuous airflow. Thanks to the pressure generated inside the visor, it prevents particles and other contaminants from entering. They provide a Nominal Protection Factor TH3 500.

It is also possible to use it connected to the SR 507 compressed air equipment which will allow a continuous flow of air from an air supply.

 

The SR 580 Safety Helmet can incorporate accessories for work against harmful gases, particles, oxy-fuel cutting, foundries, grinding, etc.

 

DIN 5 Gold Visor for thermal protection in high temperature work, the gold sheet is coated with a thin layer of gold which allows to reduce the temperature greatly, and allows optimal visibility.

Visor 2/3 DIN 3 and DIN 5 for weak emissions generated in welding and cutting work, allowing protection of the visor, the eyes and promoting good work finishes.
